Digital Citizenship by Mike Ribble, Gerald Bailey, & Tweed Ross
I think that the article got it right when they standards for technology should be created for students. This will allow them to be accountable for what they do and say about others, even on the internet. It would also lead to more polite behavior since some believe that the internet is quickly becoming the new for of bullying. Students should know and have consequences for cyberbullying because it is as inappropriate online as it is in the school. I also think that the schools should reach out to the parents to get them more involved with what their parents are doing online. Digital citizenship is important because one should be a good person in all facets of life, even on the internet.
